WSET Level 1 Award in Wines Online
Explore the main styles and types of wine through sight, smell and taste in an online format. Gain the basic skills to describe wine accurately, as well as make wine and food pairings. The course will be based around a 4-week, 7 module online learning program with educator support available for this time.
Who Should Attend
This course is designed for new trade members specifically in the restaurant and retail sectors. This is also a good starting point for enthusiastic consumers looking for a strong overview of wine knowledge and a fun food and wine pairing. If you already have experience in the industry, you may start your WSET pathway with Level 2 classes.

70% or better to achieve a pass
Cost and Dates
$280 per student | The course will be based around a 4-week, 7 module online learning program with course modules designed to be followed in order, but students are free to complete the modules at their own pace during this 4-week window. The course material should take about 6 hours in total to complete, plus revision time.
The student can contact the WSET educator or
staff@edu.wine any time for the duration of the scheduled course, should they have any questions. Each week includes a series of independent and/or group activities to help students understand the differences between grape varieties and types and styles of wine. All study materials are included in the online course.
Online attendees must be registered 10 days before the start dates listed below.

Exam Locations
We are often able to hold classes at your location with a ten student commitment. Exams are usually held at Intelligent Office, 1499 W 120th Ave, #110, Westminster, CO 80234. Online Remote Invigilated Exams are available as an add-on but all exams are otherwise held in person. Please ensure
you meet the requirements before signing up for the online exam.
